Nestled in a tiny country village, once the site of a Swedish communal society, The Colony Hospital Bed and Breakfast is the perfect setting for romantic getaways or a weekend mini vacation. Built in 1855 as their hospital by the pioneering Swedish colonists, it has been lovingly restored, but with the comfort and conveniences of modern times added.

Charming in its simplicity, The Colony Hospital Bed and Breakfast has five cozy guest rooms (three suites), each with its own private bath and decorated with furnishings reminiscent of the colony era. Choose your favorite bath: walk-in shower, old-fashioned clawfoot tub or double whirlpool Jacuzzi tub. Four of our guest rooms are located on the first floor with one additional suite on the second floor.
